Subscription
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, so they are cancelled in your iPhone's settings rather than in the app:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Polish Exam Prep.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also get there from the app: Profile → Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the next renewal.
How do I get a refund?
Apple takes the payment, so refunds are requested from Apple, not from us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose the purchase. If you are in the EU, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
I changed phones or reinstalled the app. How do I get Pro back?
Sign in with the same account you used before, then go to Profile → Restore Purchases. Pro belongs to your Polish Exam Prep account, so it follows you to any iPhone you sign in on.
Restore says the subscription is linked to another account.
A subscription can back one account only. Sign in with the account you were using when you subscribed. If you no longer have access to it, email us from your Apple ID's email address and we will sort it out.
What does the free plan include, and what does Pro add?

Pro is billed monthly or yearly through the App Store. Both plans include the same features.
AI grading
How accurate is the AI grading?
Your text is marked on the same criteria the exam uses — task fulfilment, range and accuracy of language — and scored against that level's pass mark. It is designed to be close to what an examiner would give, and it explains every mistake it finds.
It is still practice feedback, not an exam result. It can be wrong, and it cannot predict or guarantee your score on exam day. Polish Exam Prep is an independent app, not connected to the organisers of the exams.
A grade failed. Did I lose it?
No. If grading fails for a reason on our side, the grade is returned to your allowance automatically and your text is kept, so you can submit it again.
Who sees the texts I write?
Your texts are stored in your account and sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, only to be marked. They are not used to train AI models and are not shared with anyone else. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently erases your account, your progress and every text you have submitted. It cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it separately in Settings (see above), or Apple will keep billing you.
How do I change the app's language or my target exam?
Go to Profile. Source language sets the app's interface and translation language (English or Russian); Target exam sets the level of your writing tasks and your readiness score.
